Yesterday, we planted a fairy garden in the playground. We enjoyed digging, planting and decorating the miniature gardens with flowers, succulents and gems.
This week we are having fun learning about volume and capacity. Today we used water, sand and cubes to estimate and measure how much different containers could hold.
We had such fun at our Christmas party this afternoon. We danced, played games, ate and even Santa made an appearance! He must have heard how good everyone is!
We were very lucky to have Chloe’s mum in this afternoon to lead a floral table decoration workshop. She was very kind and generous! The decorations were all amazing! Thank you from P1a/b.
Thank to these brilliant boys who taught the class about Hanukkah today. They talked about some of the traditions and how people might celebrate. Thank you boys, you were very knowledgable.
To celebrate World Kindness Day, P1a/b created these beautiful kind hand pictures with their buddies. We think the display looks amazing!
Thank you to everyone who came along to our first Learning Together session. We loved having our parents in to see what numeracy learning is like in P1b. We hope to see you again soon!
This week we’ve been pumpkin mad! We’ve loved investigating them, using them for artwork and today we made pumpkin soup. It was delicious. Mr Hunter enjoyed it too!
