P1 Christmas Party

We had such fun at our Christmas party this afternoon. We danced, played games, ate and even Santa made an appearance! He must have heard how good everyone is!

Floral arrangements

We were very lucky to have Chloe’s mum in this afternoon to lead a floral table decoration workshop. She was very kind and generous! The decorations were all amazing! Thank you from P1a/b.

I’m Stickman, that’s me!

This week P1A and B have enjoyed lots of activities centred around the story ‘Stickman’. They have made Stickman out of plasticine and taken their learning outside to use real sticks to have a Stickman adventure. They have also enjoyed retelling the story using puppets! We have some brilliant story tellers in Primary 1!

Hour of Code 2018

Last week (3rd – 9th December) was Hour of Code Week.

Primary 1D had great fun trying one of the activities in the Computer Suite.

We played an Asteroids Game that introduced us to the logical thinking processes required for computer programming. The game was challenging but fun.

Happy Hanukkah

Thank to these brilliant boys who taught the class about Hanukkah today. They talked about some of the traditions and how people might celebrate. Thank you boys, you were very knowledgable.
